Since my husband has had his bladder, Prostrate, urethra, and 13 lymph nodes removed, he is now undergoing Chemo treatments. This is the second pin I’ve purchased, I lost the first one. I wear it every day in honor of my daughter who died at age 37 of cervical cancer. It is a very good item, sturdy and well-crafted. But let me tell you about the purchase: That Saturday, PayPal was having a bad day and wouldn’t acknowledge the purchase, so I kept entering my information and PayPal kept accepting it but not acknowledging the purchase. Sure enough, at the end of the day, I had purchase 3 pins, not one. The burgundy and cream colored ribbon stickers were purchased for my dads funeral. He passed from head and neck cancer on October 20, 2016. I think this product is immaculate. Nice quality pins… got several types of cancer pins due to several types of cancer that has taken the lives of my loved ones.
I recommend these lapel pins as a memory keepsake. I also bought some wide lavender ribbon from a different source, and made a wall decoration of each pin then a small picture of the loved one affected by the cancer of the pin. Sadly, all died due to the cancer they had. Hope your cancer patient is a survivor.
