  I bought this for a friend's mother who recently began chemo. It hit her hard and I wanted something to give her a little boost. She LOVED the gift set.   This is a fantastic product. I loved that it was available in every color AND in the lavender to represent all or just one of he many cancers out there. For my friends and family, I purchased the lavender one. My family member is fighting lung, bone and liver cancers - so this is a fantastic, gender natural, way for everyone to be able to show solidarity and hope of a final cure for all cancers.   My mother was diagnosed with Lung cancer this February/2018. Since then my siblings and I were looking for hygiene products for out mom that were not toxic. I came upon this website and I asked her what she would like. She said lotion, body wash, lip balm, deodorant, and candy for nausea.
So we started off by ordering What she asked for and now we are back ordering some more.

Cancer Sucks® Wristband

  I purchased these necklaces for my friend and I after her lung cancer diagnosis. I was thrilled with the product when I received them (which was about September 26th 2020 if I recall correctly). My friend loved them and we both cried. Fast forward to a month later (10/29/20) and my necklace chain is discoloring, the words on the black in the words on the necklace is wearing off, and the back of the charm is also becoming discolored. I wear the necklace daily but I don't wear it when showering or anything. My skin is hit or miss with jewelry and I had a terrible rash today and realized it was from the necklace and, after I inspected the necklace, I saw all the wear. I don't know how well her necklace is panning out but I'll be asking. I'll probably just hang mine in my car or something as decoration but I'm pretty disappointed at the product quality. I didn't expect it to be stellar since it wasn't super costly but I at least expected it to hold up better than it did.

In trying to include some positives, the packaging that it came in was cute and the shipping time was great. I had my product 3 days after the email was sent that it had shipped.

  Bought the box of 50 bands, "No One Fights Alone" when my husband was diagnosed with tonsil cancer. Love the saying, and it was great to be able to give them to everyone that was helping us out, friends and family, etc. No one does fight this fight alone...and looking down at this band all of the time reminds you of that constantly. They are made of nice material, and I never took it off in the past year. He just got a clear PET! I recommend these for your "tribe". It helps everyone remember that this is a group effort, and giving them as a little thank you to people makes them feel included, and not left out.

  Excellent advice, thanks for sharing. I'm a 5-year cancer survivor and have heard it all, both good and bad. Here's some of my tips: 1. Listen more, say less. 2. Bring soup. 3. Let your loved one take the lead in conversation. 4. Don't press for sensitive information, such as the stage of the disease or prognosis. 5. If you must Google, keep your findings to yourself. Every cancer case is extremely unique and beyond comparison. 6. Do not bombard your loved one with information. Let them absorb this new reality at their own pace. 7. Slow down. You will have time to figure this thing out and so will your beloved.
