January 2, 2017 I lost my father to esophageal cancer June 24th of this year. I had my family over in August to remember him on his Birthday and used a big bowl of these bracelets as a centerpiece. They are really special to us because we all helped take care of my dad.

The idea of a ring instead of a bracelet appealed to me because it was something different. I got 3 of them - one for each of the daughters of my friend (who has pancreatic cancer), and one I kept for myself. My ring broke the second time I put it on. 🙁 I think the word was stamped too deeply on this particular ring - it broke on the letter "O"...the other 2 are still intact & being worn
