Be Aware Ribbon Bracelet

  I ordered the orange wristband and wear it constantly in honor of my husband. He was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer May 7, underwent surgery June 4 and died July 2. I miss him terribly, and the wristband not only serves as a reminder to me, but is a conversation starter that allows me to share his story with others.

My only complaint is that the band is huge. It does stay on, but I could use a much smaller size.

  My name is Celia and I am twelve years old. I am a cancer survivor of six months. As a present for surviving, my parents bought me the gold ribbon survivor pin. That was back in October when I had just finished treatment. But soon, I felt like I needed more to decorate my shirts and show that I am proud to be a survivor with. For Christmas, my parents bought me the gold ribbon survivor button as a stocking stuffer. I know wear both accessories on my clothes every day to show off and embrace my survivorship. One ting that I really like about the buttons and the website in general is that it includes gold ribbon products for childhood cancer. This is very important to me because I notice that most organizations don't really think about childhood cancer. I love wearing my gold ribbon button!

  October 2012 would be a month I will never forget! My sister Jane called me around 9 in the morning at work, and told me that she was just got her test results back, and that she has lung cancer! I actually cried all day long! She went on vacation with her husband, and when she got back, she got the another test result informing her that the cancer has spread to her brain! Lastly, January 2013, she got another test result back letting her know that the cancer has spread to her spine! Last week she told me that the Dr's gave her 2 months to live! The reason I bought the lung cancer bracelet is because she started of with lung cancer. I plan on purchasing the multicolor bracelet because that represent all of the cancer that has spread throughout her body! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my story!   Received these today. I bought these for the "No One Fights Alone" slogan because it's the truth. I will be giving them out to the nurses and staff at my treatment center and to other cancer / chemo patient. Giving therm to staff personnel to show appreciation for helping me fight this battle because they work in one of the toughest fields of medicine there is and to the other chemo patients so they have a reminder of how many people are fighting with and for them whether they are paid to do it or if it is their family and support group.

  I love these Ribbon Awareness Magnets. I just bought several of these to put on my ice-box as a reminder of the family members who have cancer or have died of cancer. It seems like cancer has touched every family at one time or another. My brother, Gary just found out he has Colon Cancer. His ribbon is first because he is still living. Right below his the magnet in all colors as it represents awareness for all cancers. I have it turned to the right more.....below is a list of magnets that represents my other family members who have died of cancer......granddaddy, daddy, hubby, aunt.......what a great reminder to remember those living or who have died.   I love my Ribbon Awareness Necklace. I purchased the same one a few months back and reviewed how wonderful it was. Well, the chain broke and I lost the pendant. I thought that it was my fault. So I ordered another one because I love it so much, especially since Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month was coming. Well, the second one came and I again wore it every day. I came home from doing errands and and noticed that the chain was broken. Thank goodness the pendant was there this time. Would rather have you sell the pendant without a chain instead of selling it with an inferior chain that will break after wearing the necklace 3 or less times, and one that will not allow customers to remove the pendant because of the way the chain has a Choose Hope circle on it. I love the pendant, but not for the $20.00 it has already cost me. Including a photo of the necklace and broken chain.

  These are nice hoodies, very lightweight. Beware of sizing. The sizing is huge compared with women's normal sizing standards. So pay attention to the dimension chart on the website, ignore the woman's normal size. We first ordered a small, but then cancelled it because the telephone receptionist advised to order the woman's normal size. So we reordered a medium. Well, the medium came and was huge. I mean huge, like a man's large. So we sent it back, $7.00 out of pocket for postage, and ordered a small again. The small fits a little more generously than a normal woman's medium would. So order one or two sizes down from normal, depending if you like a loose or snug fit. Don't expect as good quality as a $38 major sports brand hoody; but that's ok since the logo and cancer cause is really the reason for ordering and wearing this hoody. Just love the verse.
