What People Are Saying

I was very impressed with the quality of this bracelet and was glad that the poem is printed on the packaging a it is so small on the bracelet itself that you can't read it without a magnifying glass. These are light weight and durable. It is a nice change rom all the silicone bracelets around.

July 4, 2015Dear Santa,
I am asking you to bring some understanding and enlightenment to people I encounter.
I have been getting cancer treatments for a little over a year and I am finding certain comments hurtful and dismissive. When asked how I am doing I usually answer ‘fine, but tired’. I am met with responses of “why do you think you are so tired?” and other responses of “you’ll be fine”, “just stay positive” and “you know they are putting poison in you”. I believe these people mean well and don’t know what to say, but it leaves me feeling discounted. I am no drama queen but feel these comments are insensitive and not supportive.
A more appropriate, supportive response to someone going through a challenging medical time would be “I hope the treatment is successful, wishing you the best outcome” or “I am sure you must get tired, I bet those naps help.”
Don’t barrage someone with texts and phone calls after an appointment, you don’t know how fatiguing or what happened in that appointment. And please don’t ask if you can “share” the medical information with others. It feels like a gossip channel not a support system.
Anyway I hope this letter can be used to enlighten the support system of anyone going through a medical crisis. What to Say and What Not to Say to Someone Newly Diagnosed with CancerJoan S., Massachusetts

March 6, 2011I purchased this ribbon appliques to decorate a tote bag that I wanted to make and they worked out perfectly. I was worried that the adhesive of the ribbon would not stick to the material of the tote bag but they did and have not fallen off. I was very happy with this purchase... great item for crafts or decorating.

October 1, 2012This is my second order of these pins. I first ordered 50 which were all gone/accounted for before I even received the shipment. So I have again placed an order for 50 more. I love that choose hope provides these items at a lower price when you purchase them in bulk. I am extremely satisfied with not only the service from Choose Hope, but with the quality of the pins as well. I would definitely order from them again

I love the bracelet, however, the beads are emerald green and white. The colors for cervical cancer are teal and white. The ribbon charm is the right colors, but I am disappointed because the bead colors are not correct.

It's the perfect little something to give to a loved one. It arrived on time and everything was as it should be. I anticipated the charms to be a little larger but I am very happy with the size! I would certainly order from this company again!

May 7, 2019I am proud to wear this pin stating I am a survivor. My lung cancer was surgically cured. I truly recognize that my battle was a drop in the bucket compared to the hell that so many must endure for their cure. My pin, as I am a nurse, opens the door to conversations and, hopefully, motivation on the other's part towards healthy behaviors.
I encourage others who can gratefully say that they, too, are survivors to wear their pin proudly. Not to tell the story of their battle, per se, but to show that there are many survivors.Cancer Survivor Ribbon PinCustomer in Miami, FL

I love the message of girls fight tough , it's a message of girl power to me. I am glad these come in different colors please get more. I personally like. Choose Hope for all the cancer support colors they offer.. I love it better than the Susan G. Komen because Choose Hope thought of everyone in size up to 3x to 4x with quality size material..while Susan G. Komen don't have those size and their shirt run very small where as a large would fit like a medium.

My sister and I live 1,000 miles apart. With her recent diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, it's important for me to feel closer to her and show support. She gave me a pink ribbon charm after my brief bout with breast cancer in 2012. The high-quality, charming lime green ribbon charm is a perfect way for all of us (my sister and her two adult daughters and me) to feel connected as she faces her diagnosis. I appreciated Choose Hope's selection and very fast delivery.
