What People Are Saying

A large group of employees wanted to show our care, concern and support for a coworker who is battling cancer. This necklace appeared to be just the right touch. It definitely was perfect. Both the men and women who participated in this "support group: are wearing their necklace every day. It is a boost for our dear coworker, and a constant reminder to each other to keep him in our prayers. The icing on the cake was the extraordinary customer service we received from this company. Several people have asked me for the web site so their families can purchase similar necklaces for their family members. I wholly recommend the company and the products to anyone looking for the right touch to demonstrate care to a friend, coworker or loved one.

I want to thank you for this page. I needed to make the call and had a feeling of how I might phrase it. Reading this verified my feeling and I am so happy I found this page. It is my sister's "significant other", I have known him since they were in high school and I could not be silent. Thank you again. I will refer to this page in the coming months.

April 22, 2011Dear Santa,
I am asking you to bring some understanding and enlightenment to people I encounter.
I have been getting cancer treatments for a little over a year and I am finding certain comments hurtful and dismissive. When asked how I am doing I usually answer ‘fine, but tired’. I am met with responses of “why do you think you are so tired?” and other responses of “you’ll be fine”, “just stay positive” and “you know they are putting poison in you”. I believe these people mean well and don’t know what to say, but it leaves me feeling discounted. I am no drama queen but feel these comments are insensitive and not supportive.
A more appropriate, supportive response to someone going through a challenging medical time would be “I hope the treatment is successful, wishing you the best outcome” or “I am sure you must get tired, I bet those naps help.”
Don’t barrage someone with texts and phone calls after an appointment, you don’t know how fatiguing or what happened in that appointment. And please don’t ask if you can “share” the medical information with others. It feels like a gossip channel not a support system.
Anyway I hope this letter can be used to enlighten the support system of anyone going through a medical crisis. What to Say and What Not to Say to Someone Newly Diagnosed with CancerJoan S., Massachusetts

I really wish the colon cancer items had more choice in colors. It would be great to have the blue ribbon on blue, black or white. Other than the fact that the beanie has to be grey and its a little too large for my head it is great.

January 14, 2015Love wearing my bracelet and passed many into friends and family. I will never, ever take mine off as I have stage 3 colon cancer and am enjoying life to its fullest until only God knows when. Thanks Choose Hope inc.

September 9, 2017My brother has leiomyosarcoma and we sent 100 bracelets to his work and he said that everyone grabbed several bracelets for themselves and their spouses to wear. He said it brought tears to his eyes to know that he wasn't 'fighting alone'. We have bought Yellow for sarcoma, Purple for leiomyosarcoma and Blue for colon cancer (his said it was close enough). The bracelets are very durable and people enjoy getting them.

Love this little bracelet. The price is very reasonable and it is very comfortable to wear when working on the computer or doing anything like writing where your wrist is in constant contact with a hard surface. Some bracelets have sharp beads on them that cut into your wrist. This one is great buy.

March 25, 2014We loved the bracelet. Really like the magnetic clasp. Several men in our family ordered these. The men are all different shapes and sizes but the one consistent thing is that these bracelets run extra large. Way too big!

October 16, 2010In honor of a dear friend I lost to stomach cancer a couple of months ago, ordering these wristbands for November awareness month was perfect. Passed them out to friends. Ordering was a cinch on the website, and my order arrived in no time! Highly recommended in memory of those we lost!

November 21, 2013When my friend shared with me that she would need long term continued Chemo, I tried to find some words of comfort to let her know how much she means to us and how much we care about her. Everything seemed so insignificant, more flowers, candy she couldn't eat then I found this, what a perfect idea. Heartfelt and useful. Thank you Choose Hope for helping make the gesture a little easier.

One of our church members was recently diagnosed with acute lukemia and we bought these as a fundraiser and as a prayer reminder. The church loved them and now the majority of the church is walking around with orange wristbands that show a sign of unity in our member's fight against cancer. Great product!

September 19, 2011I was looking for just a grey ribbon to represent brain cancer on the bracelet I was making for charity...the ribbon was of high quality! Would have liked to have just the ribbon but I was able to get it off the necklace without any trouble. I'm also thrilled that you give money to cancer as well!!

This prostate cancer survivor pin is a great value for only $4.00. It is well made and very good quality. The silver side of the ribbon is quite shiny, so the word "survivor" does not show up as well as it might if it were on a buffed matte finish instead. Very worth while and a good price.
