July 7, 2010 My husband is fighting for his life, but not one to wear jewelry except his wedding ring and watch, so I got this for our daughter and me. She lives 1000 miles away and having a physical talisman between us has been good.
The necklace is a good size (noticeable, but not huge) and the attached ribbon is subtle. I got the small crystal charm in caregiver's plum, which adds on nicely. I had to remove the end ring to slip it on and replaced that with a split ring for security. At first I wished it was sterling, but it's easier to keep this clean. Where it rests on my skin collects skin oils, which are easily wiped off with a piece of eyeglasses cloth.
Although this is not our first cancer rodeo (mother and father, plus hubby 15 years ago), it's the first time I've thought to look for something like this. We are not disappointed.

September 5, 2012 - Good product. Sticks well and looks nice. The nice thing about this one is that it is truly GOLD colored, rather than yellow as so many of the others out there are. Also, this one was cheaper than many others I found online - and I think it's just as nice or nicer. I passed the link on to friends and referred them to buy their car magnet from here as well. December 11, 2014 - I was really disappointed in the amount of time this item took to be delivered. This was sent via USPS (which is never reliable) and it took 2 weeks to be delivered which meant I couldn't give it to my husband to wear prior to his Kidney Cancer surgery. I ordered it a week before his surgery since the delivery date listed was January 2 and his surgery was January 4. It didn't arrive until January 8. The item itself is nice and well made with a nice magnetic closure that makes it easy to get on and off. I would recommend ordering this item with plenty of time to spare for delivery.
