August 20, 2014 - My daughter actually found the pins on-line. We were looking for something special to honor one my students who would have graduated this year. Mayte passed away after a long illness in February.
We ordered 95 angel ribbon pins to wear at graduation. The graduates, administrators, teachers, Mayte's family and even the custodian wore a pin on graduation day to remember Mayte. She was with all of us in spirit through the pins. Now everyone has a pin to wear whenever they wish to remember Mayte.
We are also very happy that proceeds from the sale of the pins funds further cancer research.

July 10, 2018 I have bought 5 of these 2 for my BFF who is fighting cervical and thyroid cancer..2 for my self for support and 1 so far for my mom who was just diagnosed with terminal kidney cancer..I love these bracelets they are made with excellent quality most things turn my skin green that arent pure silver or gold, these do not.. so far i love everything from choose hope

March 21, 2015 - My husband is fighting for his life, but not one to wear jewelry except his wedding ring and watch, so I got this for our daughter and me. She lives 1000 miles away and having a physical talisman between us has been good.
The necklace is a good size (noticeable, but not huge) and the attached ribbon is subtle. I got the small crystal charm in caregiver's plum, which adds on nicely. I had to remove the end ring to slip it on and replaced that with a split ring for security. At first I wished it was sterling, but it's easier to keep this clean. Where it rests on my skin collects skin oils, which are easily wiped off with a piece of eyeglasses cloth.
Although this is not our first cancer rodeo (mother and father, plus hubby 15 years ago), it's the first time I've thought to look for something like this. We are not disappointed.

Inspire Awareness Wrap Bracelet w/ Ribbon Charm
November 10, 2016 - I first found out about this sight just checking around to find out what my niece's childhood brain cancer ribbon colors were. Being a cancer survivor (10+ years) myself gave me some motivation. I found the survivor pins and the the fact that some of the cost went to cancer research to hard to resist. I got my niece her pin (overwhelmed to find it is all gold!), I got one for myself and one for a work colleague who is a survivor. Then I started thinking: I know several people who I work with that have had cancer. Why not get them a ribbon pin? So I sent out an email to coworkers. In a high school with about 130 teachers, staff and support people, we had 8 who are survivors, two of whom are currently being treated, but come to work daily except for chemo days. We have two people who have relatives (a young son to one and my niece) who are survivors. I got them all ribbon pins, including a former student who student taught last year.
We have eight in the building and three either relatives or former students who are survivors. We also have several current or recently graduated students who are survivors. I intend to get them ribbon pins also.
That's a lot of people in a fairly small school. I figure why not give some money to support research and at the same time "choose hope" for those I know.
I am quite proud to be a 10+ years survivor. And I think my project gave an uplift to my friends at work. Every one of them pinned it on and wears it daily.
It is not what you say that makes a difference, it is what you do, no matter how small it seems.
