April 26, 2011When my hubby was diagnosed, I decided to find wristbands with his cancer colors. These are great because they are inexpensive, come in all the colors, have 3 size options, the motto is wonderful, and they are comfortable. He and all his "girls" are wearing them, even his 10 year old granddaughter. A note: His hands and wrists are medium size for a man, but he needed the large size band; my wrists and hands are small, so the regular adult one practically fell off and I had to get the youth size. Definitely measure before buying.

January 15, 2018The product is very nice and I like them. It took more time to receive them than I figured.
Two of the pins were in need of adjusting/ repair since I could not get the backing portion of the pins off. After much trouble I finally got them apart and got the back pieces off so they could be used but bent the posts.
It was not worth my expense to return 2 of the 10 I ordered

The lavender ribbon is a nice reminder of how many people are afflicted with cancer every day. I chose this pin with the angel in remembrance of two of my girlfriend's cousins who passed away last year. It is a joy to wear to spread awareness and remind us of how lucky we are in this life.

I like what this poem says, so it's great to be able to take it with me every day. Any time I need a pick-me-up or a little inspiration, all I have to do is look down at my wrist. The bracelet is a bit big for me, but I sort of expected that might happen with a unisex sizing. I shared it with my chemo nurses, who had never seen it before. One of them wanted to know where I got it.

I'm enjoying my shirt a lot. It takes on a serious matter and allows people to laugh at it with you - an important and not always easy part of dealing with cancer. It was suggested to me by a perceptive mental health nurse at the cancer centre who really does get it. It's good at consultations because it relaxes tensions and sends a positive message to the oncologists and others. Cheaper than a bottle of pills and much more effective!

I purchased a band for my daughter whose mother died of ovarian cancer and one for my niece for her current battle with breast cancer and they were very moved. I bought one for myself as a prostate cancer survivor and I wear it very proudly and hope someone will ask me what it stands for. Great product, great cause.

Leather bracelet is a great idea. The men's version uses black leather for all cancer types with small bands in the corresponding cancer colors. We bought two, for lung cancer (white) and carcinoid cancer (zebra). Unless you know what to look for, it's hard to tell them apart. Please consider additional leather colors for the men's leather ribbon awareness bracelets. Finally, the magnetic closure is not as strong as the magnetic clasp on the women's bracelet.
