My wife Maria passed away on may 10th from Lung Cancer. It was sudden and a complete shock to all of us as we never knew until the last ten days of her life. I ordered the white wrist bands to create an awareness and lasting tribute and memory for the woman I was married to for forty seven years and knew for fifty. I have not taken my band off since and will wear it for the rest of my life. Rest well my beautiful and sweet Maria, you will never be forgotten.

These bracelets are lovely and make a nice gift for close family or friends. I gave these bracelets to my sisters and they wear them all of the time. Having support of your family and friends during chemo is so important and this is just one way they can show it in a fashionable way!

March 9, 2012My grandmother was diagnosed with galbladder cancer when I was 9. My mom decided to buy me a green galbladder cancer wristband so I can show my support. Unfortunately, she passed away, but ever since then I have been wearing it. I’m now 16 and it’s been 7 years and I have never taken it off. It’s stayed intact for 7 entire years without being taken off. If that doesn’t scream quality, then I don’t know what does.

I really wish the colon cancer items had more choice in colors. It would be great to have the blue ribbon on blue, black or white. Other than the fact that the beanie has to be grey and its a little too large for my head it is great.

January 30, 2013I love these Ribbon Awareness Magnets. I just bought several of these to put on my ice-box as a reminder of the family members who have cancer or have died of cancer. It seems like cancer has touched every family at one time or another. My brother, Gary just found out he has Colon Cancer. His ribbon is first because he is still living. Right below his the magnet in all colors as it represents awareness for all cancers. I have it turned to the right more.....below is a list of magnets that represents my other family members who have died of cancer......granddaddy, daddy, hubby, aunt.......what a great reminder to remember those living or who have died. Cancer has touched my family.....and at times it has been real sad......these magnets just help to ease the pain, as I think of other families and friends going through the same thing I have.....yes, cancer effects all of in one way or another......may we never forget our family or friends who have suffered from this terrible disease.

I first found out about this sight just checking around to find out what my niece's childhood brain cancer ribbon colors were. Being a cancer survivor (10+ years) myself gave me some motivation. I found the survivor pins and the the fact that some of the cost went to cancer research to hard to resist. I got my niece her pin (overwhelmed to find it is all gold!), I got one for myself and one for a work colleague who is a survivor. Then I started thinking: I know several people who I work with that have had cancer. Why not get them a ribbon pin? So I sent out an email to coworkers. In a high school with about 130 teachers, staff and support people, we had 8 who are survivors, two of whom are currently being treated, but come to work daily except for chemo days. We have two people who have relatives (a young son to one and my niece) who are survivors. I got them all ribbon pins, including a former student who student taught last year.
We have eight in the building and three either relatives or former students who are survivors. We also have several current or recently graduated students who are survivors. I intend to get them ribbon pins also.
That's a lot of people in a fairly small school. I figure why not give some money to support research and at the same time "choose hope" for those I know.
I am quite proud to be a 10+ years survivor. And I think my project gave an uplift to my friends at work. Every one of them pinned it on and wears it daily.
It is not what you say that makes a difference, it is what you do, no matter how small it seems.Cancer Survivor Ribbon PinCustomer in Overland Park KS

December 25, 2013After receiving a pin from an oncologist, I ordered several of these to hand out to family to expand the circle of prayer and support during a loved one's cancer treatment. I love the pins and the attached Choose Hope card which helps explain what the ribbon color represents for specific types of cancer. Everything was top quality.

May 17, 2019I ordered this pin in black to raise melanoma awareness. It is very attractive and sleek in design. I keep several on hand to give to newly diagnosed melanoma patients. It is also nice since it is silver in color instead of yellow gold. The price is very reasonable.

I love this bracelet and everything it says the only bad part is the metal is not good and will turn your wrist green after awhile and a rash will accumulate in that area because of it. t

I like the 'survivor' wristbands in the different colors, however, think the type of cancer (i.e. breast, pancreatic), should also be on the band.

If you are looking for the bright sunny yellow that is displayed on the main page, DO NOT ORDER gold. I did this by mistake, I did not know there were two yellows (actually gold & yellow). What I received was two dingy nasty gold rings that look like an old rubber band off of a newspaper. I contacted customer service so I could reorder the YELLOW I thought I was getting in the first place, I was hoping to receive a discount code for free shipping (the offer that was on my previous order. No such luck on that, I had to pay more for the shipping then the rings actually cost. What a bummer.. I felt it was a reasonable request since I felt I was misled by the image portrayed on the website...

I purchased these in honor of my daughter's 15-year-old friend who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I wanted to send them on to her up in Washington state to give out to her friends to wear in support of the fight she has in front of her. They're going to be great to show support and raise awareness!
