I received this bracelet as a gift from my mother to show support for my dad who was battling neuroendocrine carcinoma. It is a beautiful looking bracelet, and I got many compliments on it, however, after a very short period of time, the straight piece on the metal toggle clasp broke in half. I can no longer wear the bracelet, which is very upsetting to me.

My daughter, Amanda has been with me every step of the way. She's been there for me from the diagnosis, through 27 chemo treatments, CT scans, 10 radiation therapies, and now Immunatherapy. I then keep one to wear as a reminder of their fight and send them the rest to wear and share themselves. October 23, 2013 My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few months ago. He had been very discreet about with whom he shared the diagnosis, so I was stunned to hear him say he needed to get "one of those blue bracelets". Of course, I immediately went online to order one, and was thrilled to also find the rings. I bought the bracelets for him and the ring for me. I wear it everyday and it makes me feel a little more connected to my dad on a day-to-day basis. Not many people ask about it - maybe they assume they know what it's for, given the popularity of the bracelets. My only complaint is that it seems to have stretched in just a couple months time, and now fits much looser than it did before. May need to order the smaller size for the winter months when my fingers are a little smaller.
