Awesome sturdy pin! I guess the clasp got lost in transit though. Great quality pin, really heavy. Just have look around for a clasp.

January 11, 2018My son has been wearing a breast cancer awareness wristband as part of a breast cancer awareness month at school. I wanted to bring awareness to Head and Neck cancer as I recently had surgery for Oral cancer (tongue cancer) which is not so well known but cases of oral cancer in younger people are becoming more and more common and not only people who are heavy tobacco smokers or tobacco chewers etc These bands are great quality and fit well (we chose adult size). Hopefully people will ask about the unusual color of band (Cream and wine) and we can spread awareness. Great packaging and shipping also.

November 3, 2017Bought the box of 50 bands, "No One Fights Alone" when my husband was diagnosed with tonsil cancer. Love the saying, and it was great to be able to give them to everyone that was helping us out, friends and family, etc. No one does fight this fight alone...and looking down at this band all of the time reminds you of that constantly. They are made of nice material, and I never took it off in the past year. He just got a clear PET! I recommend these for your "tribe". It helps everyone remember that this is a group effort, and giving them as a little thank you to people makes them feel included, and not left out.

April 3, 2014Dear Santa,
I am asking you to bring some understanding and enlightenment to people I encounter.
I have been getting cancer treatments for a little over a year and I am finding certain comments hurtful and dismissive. When asked how I am doing I usually answer ‘fine, but tired’. I am met with responses of “why do you think you are so tired?” and other responses of “you’ll be fine”, “just stay positive” and “you know they are putting poison in you”. I believe these people mean well and don’t know what to say, but it leaves me feeling discounted. I am no drama queen but feel these comments are insensitive and not supportive.
A more appropriate, supportive response to someone going through a challenging medical time would be “I hope the treatment is successful, wishing you the best outcome” or “I am sure you must get tired, I bet those naps help.”
Don’t barrage someone with texts and phone calls after an appointment, you don’t know how fatiguing or what happened in that appointment. And please don’t ask if you can “share” the medical information with others. It feels like a gossip channel not a support system.
Anyway I hope this letter can be used to enlighten the support system of anyone going through a medical crisis. What to Say and What Not to Say to Someone Newly Diagnosed with CancerJoan S., Massachusetts

I sing with a gospel quintet from our church. Our piano player (who is also the wife of one of our vocalists) was diagnosed with lung cancer last December. I bought the No one fights alone white wristbands for the group and we wore them in support of her this year. She passed away a few weeks ago. I bought these angel pins for each group member and we wore them at her funeral, and they will now be part of our uniform at performances, so that she is always with us. The pins are beautiful. Perfect size. Everyone who is seeing them is now wanting one. Wonderful product and a wonderful company.

The metal claps on the back of the hat that adjusts the size is junk. The hat would be much better if that part of the hat was redone and it was a Velcro adjusted sizer. Ii get frustrated with the hat due to this. I have long thick hair and trying to put in through the hole to wear the hat and the adjusted part stay where I have it is impossible.a. I still wear it but do not like it as much as I thought I would and would wear the hat more if the claps was better quality or Velcro.

The bracelet I bought has Lime green beads and it is gorgeous! I'm sure any color would be equally as pretty! My daughter wears it everyday as a show of support for her cousin with lymphoma and it is well made and durable!! Only regret is that I wish I had bought one for myself, too!!

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in August, 2018. I started chemo in September, had surgery in November of that year and more chemo treatments. After thirteen rounds of different and same chemo infusion over the last five years, I still have cancerous tumors on my lymph nodes. I am still on chemo treatment with the hope that this one works but my cancer tumors are very stubborn.
