April 16, 2018I recently purchased the What Cancer Cannot Do bracelets, 1 silver and 1 gold. My Son-in-law was recently diagnosed with stage 4B Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. We wear these every day as a constant reminder of everything this terrible disease cannot do, expecially since we are constantly made aware of all that it can. They are gorgeous! I wear gold jewelry and this looks like a very expensive piece. I have received several compliments on it. I bought the silver one for my daughter who is a registered cardiac nurse. It is equally as gorgeous. She and I always wear these in support of our family member, and every other person that has been affected by this disease. Great Bracelet, Great Message!!

The wristbands were completely as advertised, and I assume that they will last some time. The fit was fine and comfortable. The message was appropriate while undergoing treatment for cancer. I look forward to changing to the "Cancer survivor" message.

June 4, 2011I wear my No One Fights Alone necklace with the white ribbon (for my husband's lung cancer) all the time. The price was fair, and the size is attractive. My only wish is that the "ring" to hook the "claw hook" into would be a little larger. My acrylic nails make it a little hard to hang onto the ring and get the claw through. But I am successful with a little concentration. It is just such a simple and elegant way to keep my husband first in my mind and heart.

The Carcinoid Cancer bracelets are very cheap. It is a white band with black paint that disapears fast. Within a few weeks the black is almost gone.

I love these bracelets!! My only concern was the adult size was rather large (there was only one size - so maybe having S, M, L would help?), but it seemed to actually shrink down a bit once I started wearing it, or maybe I just got used to it 🙂

December 30, 2011For a $20 donation to cancer charities, our rather conservative office allows us to wear jeans and tennis shoes on Mondays and Wednesdays for the month of October. We are suposed to wear either "cancer related" t-shirts or pink (breast cancer), red, white or gold (colors used by LLS) , or black tops. I ordered this shsirt in purple as atribute to my father who died from pancreatic cancer and my sister who is newly diagnosed with the same AS I was dirving i to work, I started thinking that Cancer Sucks might be a little edgy for the office amid the pink "Hope" ond "fight for a cure" messages. However, I only received positive feedback and I think that people universally know that cancer does, indeed, suck!

I love these buttons. I just purchased a Melanoma Cancer button to wear in memory of my dad. He died of Melanoma Cancer in May of 2001. Melanoma is also celebrated in May to let others know of this awareness. Then I purchased a Colon Cancer button to remember my brother who recently died of Colon Cancer on May 2, 2015. Colon Cancer Awareness is in February. I wear these buttons proudly to remember my two loves: daddy and my brother......and to let others know that it is not always about PINK!
Melanoma, Black
Colon, Dark Blue
I love Choose Hope and what it stands for.

Karen's Story
I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in August, 2018. I started chemo in September, had surgery in November of that year and more chemo treatments. After thirteen rounds of different and same chemo infusion over the last five years, I still have cancerous tumors on my lymph nodes. I am still on chemo treatment with the hope that this one works but my cancer tumors are very stubborn.
